    Pilgrimage Tour to Poland and Prague

With A Spiritual Director

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Mon. May 4: DEPARTURE FROM USA

Day 2 – Tues. May 5: ARRIVAL TO WARSAW
Arrival in Warsaw, transfer to the hotel, and check-in. Enjoy some free time to settle in and relax at your
hotel. In the evening, delight in a welcome dinner accompanied by a local show at a nearby restaurant.
Overnight stay in Warsaw. (D)

Day 3 – Wed. May 6: WARSAW - GLOGOWIEC
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Glogowiec, the birthplace of St. Faustina Kowalska. Visit her family home
and the local church where she was baptized, gaining insight into her early life. Return to Warsaw and
embark on a sightseeing tour of the Old Town with its Barbican Walls and Castle Square. Visit St. John’s
Cathedral and the Holy Cross Church. Drive along the Royal Route from the Old Town to Belvedere Palace
and Lazienki Park, and tour the Royal Castle interiors. In the afternoon, visit and attend Mass at the
Congregation of the Divine Mother of Mercy on Zytnia Street, where St. Faustina entered the convent.
Dinner and overnight in Warsaw. (B,D) Optional: Attend a Chopin Piano Concert in one of Warsaw’s
palaces.

Day 4 – Thurs. May 7: WARSAW – Niepokalanow – Czestochowa – KRAKOW
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Niepokalanow, a small village near Warsaw famous for the Franciscan
Monastery founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe. Tour the basilica, chapel, Maximilian Kolbe room, panorama of
the millennium, and the papa-mobile museum. Continue to Czestochowa. Guided visit to Jasna Gora
Monastery, known for the Miraculous Painting of the Black Madonna. Check-in and dinner at the hotel in
Krakow. (B,D)

Day 5 – Fri. May 8: KRAKOW
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day tour of Krakow including sites connected to Pope John Paul II. Visit St.
Florian Church, St. Mary’s Church with a memorial plaque commemorating the White March, Collegium
Novum of Jagiellonian University, and the Archbishop’s Palace with the famous “papa’s window” at
Archdiocese Museum. Dinner at a local restaurant with overnight stay in Krakow. (B,D)

Day 6 – Sat. May 9: KRAKOW - Wadowice – KRAKOW
Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on an excursion to Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. Visit the
Pope's Family Home Museum and the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, where he was
baptized. Enjoy a typical lunch in Wadowice before returning to Krakow for an afternoon at leisure. Dinner
at a local restaurant with overnight stay in Krakow. (B,D)

Day 7 – Sun. May 10: KRAKOW – AUSCHWITZ - KRAKOW
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous Nazi concentration and extermination
camp. Take a guided tour to understand the somber history and significance of this site, paying homage to
the victims of the Holocaust. Return to Krakow enjoy free time until dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – Mon. May 11: KRAKOW – Wieliczka – Lagiewniki – KRAKOW
Breakfast at the hotel. depart for Wieliczka to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine with a local guide. Explore unique
underground routes leading through chapels like St. Kinga’s Chapel, salt caves, and underground lakes—a
UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, visit the Sanctuary of St. Faustina in Lagiewniki (Shrine of
Divine Mercy). Participate in Holy Mass at the church consecrated by John Paul II during his final pilgrimage
to Poland in 2002. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant with overnight stay in Krakow. (B,D)

Day 9 – Tues. May 12: KRAKOW – OLOMOUC – PRAGUE
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. We board the bus and travel to the Czech Republic, making
a stop in Olomouc. Here, we celebrate Mass at a local church and enjoy some free time before
our continued travels to Prague. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Prague. (B,D)

DAY 10 – WED. May 13: PRAGUE
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a full day of sightseeing. We will see Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus
Cathedral, the Royal Castle and the Basilica of St. George. Mass this day is celebrated at the
Church of Our Lady Victorious (subject to confirmation), where we see the Statue of the Infant
Jesus of Prague. We will stroll across the St. Charles Bridge, visiting The Old Town, the Market Square
“Astronomical Clock,” and Wenceslas Square. We will end our day with a visit to the Church of St.
Nicholas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Prague. (B,D)

DAY 11 – THURS. May 14: PRAGUE - KUTNÁ HORA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Kutná Hora, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Visit the majestic
Church of St. Barbara, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the region. Continue to
the Sedlec Ossuary, a chapel adorned with human bones, serving as a powerful reminder of life's
transience. Free time to enjoy the medieval atmosphere before returning to Prague. Farewell
dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Prague. (B,D)

DAY 12 – FRI. May 15: DEPARTURE FROM PRAGUE
Transfer to the Prague Airport for your return flight to the USA. Arrive the same day, with memories
of your Divine Mercy Pilgrimage to Poland and Prague to last a lifetime. (B)
